What are the different types of COVID Tests?
The three types of Tests are Antigen, Antibody, and PCR. PCR tests are considered to be the most accurate, but are expensive and slow. Antibody tests are only used to determine previous presence of SARS-CoV-2, and will not determine a current infection. Antigen Tests collect samples and detect current infection through viral shedding for rapid results.
How does the Covid-19 Antigen Test work?
The rapid COVID-19 Antigen Test is an FDA EUA authorized test that can detect SARS-CoV-2 with a nasal swab and provide results within 10 minutes. Viral RNA is captured on the swab and placed into an extraction vile. The extraction vile sample is then placed onto a test device that provides an easy to read result.

While business owners can test employees through Surveillance Usage, it is required to follow all FDA guidelines and be administered by a medical professional.
